Jeff Hetschel
About Jeff
Jeff Hetschel is a professional problem solver based in Orange County, California who has spent 41 years of his life serving people around the world in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Latin American and Africa. In 1993, he co-founded Global Involvement through Education, a non-governmental organization currently operating in eight countries around the globe.
Most recently he worked on the front lines supporting hospital, police and fire employees during the crisis of the COVID pandemic of 2020-2022. Jeff frequently delivers motivational speeches on leadership and thriving post-pandemic, as well as coaching individuals with the challenges of their post-pandemic lives.
He has volunteered as a Police Officiers Standards and Training-certified chaplain for the Irvine Police Department for the past 12 years. Additionally, he has served 17-years as a Battalion Chaplain with Orange County Fire Authority, as well as with Hoag Hospital in various capacities within the Spiritual Care Department, Hospice and Administration.
Jeff was raised in a military family. His father retired from the US Air Force and his mother was a captain of the Air Force Nurse Corps. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from New Mexico State University and a Master’s degree from Bakke Graduate University. Married to his wife Debbie for 40 years, he is a proud parent to three adult children and three adorable grandchildren.
He loves coffee, visiting his home state of New Mexico, and being a grandparent.
